BS-008 Permanent Use Nano-cluster Purification Filter

The Nano-Cluster Purification Filter is a novel high-efficiency filtration material based on nano-catalytic technology. Leveraging the catalytic action of atomically precise metal clusters, it achieves efficient degradation and interception of pollutants (e.g., VOCs, bacteria, particulate matter). Compared to conventional filters, it not only delivers superior filtration performance but also features self-catalytic and self-cleaning properties, enabling lifetime use without replacement and significantly reducing operational costs.

  • Pure Decomposition, Zero Secondary Pollution
    The Baysen Nano-Cluster Purification Filter utilizes the oxygen activation effect of valence electrons in metal clusters. Under aerobic conditions, it effectively decomposes gaseous pollutants such as formaldehyde and trimethylamine, as well as ozone, without generating harmful byproducts—ensuring fundamental pollutant elimination.

  • Energy-Free, Oxygen-Driven Decomposition
    As a non-consumable catalyst, the filter requires no external energy. It continuously breaks down short-chain gaseous pollutants (e.g., formaldehyde, trimethylamine) in the presence of oxygen, achieving zero-energy purification.

  • High Efficiency, Rapid Air Refresh
    In a 3m air duct equipped with 1.5 Nano-Cluster Filter, testing under the following conditions:

    • Chamber volume: 30m³

    • Airflow rate: 500m³/h

    • Initial formaldehyde concentration: 0.87mg/m³
      Results:

    • Formaldehyde reduced to <0.05mg/m³ within 60 minutes (removal rate: 93.3%).

    • 94.2% trimethylamine removal in 10 minutes.

WORKING PRINCIPLE

Nano-clusters are stable aggregates composed of two or more atoms or ions, exhibiting the largest specific surface area and highest atomic utilization efficiency among all materials.

The nano-cluster catalyst enhances the activation of oxygen molecules in the air. Through this process, reactive oxygen species (ROS) oxidize formaldehyde (HCHO), converting it into carbon dioxide (CO₂) and water (H₂O).

Nano-clusters, also referred to as ultrafine clusters, fall within the dimensional scope of nanomaterials. They consist of atomic aggregates formed by two or more interconnected atoms, exhibiting the largest specific surface area and highest atomic utilization efficiency among all known materials.

By implementing a specific sequential stacking configuration, we achieve a synergistic enhancement effect, significantly amplifying the metal atoms' ability to elevate surrounding catalytic activity. This results in an optimized metal atomic aggregate—the nano-cluster catalyst.

Mechanism of Action:

  1. Ultrafast Oxygen Activation
    The catalyst accelerates oxygen activation in air within 100 nanoseconds (10⁻⁸ s), generating singlet oxygen (¹O₂)*—an excited-state oxygen molecule with high reactivity.

  2. Formaldehyde Degradation Pathway
    The singlet oxygen captures formaldehyde (HCHO), triggering an oxidation reaction that decomposes it into carbon dioxide (CO₂) and water (H₂O)
